For physical formats, you need to pay royalties for the amount of CDs/tapes/vinyl that you are manufacturing.
Example: If you’re manufacturing 500 CDs, you will need to pay royalties for 500 copies of that song. If you’re manufacturing 250 CDs and 250 cassettes, you will need to pay royalties for 500 copies of that song.
When submitting your cover songs through our site, select the quantities of each format that you are releasing your cover song on.
Our fee is $13 per song. We do not charge $13 per song, per format. This is another way we keep licensing as affordable as possible for you and other artists.
